prices than non-sustainable alternatives. However, over 65% of customers
distrust self-made sustainability claims from retailers without proof.

landing page that proves the sustainability of the product and can be
used to forward customers directly from your website to the official
product certificate on ecocheck.io.

Our pricing is designed for brands of all sizes. All prices are based on the total number of products to be certified.

Certification cost for brands with 1-20 products is $50 per product per year.

The certification cost for brands with 21-100 products is $30 per product per year.

For brands with more than 100 products, prices on request.

For brands with 1-100 products we offer a free pre-sustainability check.

To ensure that third-party certifications have not expired or there have been significant changes in production or material usage, each product must be certified once a year. Therefore, our pricing is based on an annual subscription.

Variable products are products with the same properties, but which only differ in color or size, for example. Examples of this can be t-shirts or shoes.

Variable products only need to be certified once. This means that the certification also applies to the same product with different sizes or colours.

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Please note that after termination you lose the right to use ECOCHECK certificates for your product.

At the beginning of the certification process, you will first be asked to register. You need the following information:

• Email-address
• Password
• Contact name
• Name of the company
• Company address
• Phone number
• Website URL
• Image of your logo (max. file size: 2 MB)
• The certification process consists of a two-stage process. First, you will be asked to fill out a product-specific questionnaire, followed by a sustainability check questionnaire.

1st step:

You will need the following information to successfully complete the product questionnaire:

• Product name
• Product description
• Product category
• Image of the product (maximum file size: 2 MB)
• Information on where you sell your product and the corresponding SKU number. (Example: you sell your product on your own website and on ETSY, then you need to enter the SKU number used on your website and the SKU number / product number used by ETSY)
• If you sell variable products: also all SKUs of the corresponding product configurations
• Place of production (e.g. USA)
• A document from the manufacturer proving the place of manufacture (sample can be downloaded)

2nd step:

In order to successfully complete the product sustainability check, you need the following information:

• You must tell us which of our 6 ECOCHECK certificates you are applying for
• You must state why your product meets our set criteria for the certificate you are applying for
  • This may be the case when you or your producer work with one or more of our approved certifiers
  • or that you meet one or more of our sustainability criteria
• You will need to upload a signed document from one of your company representatives or your manufacturer’s representatives confirming that you meet one of the above two statements (sample can be downloaded).
